Eberhard & Co. was official timekeeper of the 11th edition of “Abruzzo Gran Tour – Circuito di Avezzano”, a classic car touring event included in the ASI (Historical Italian Automotoclub) calendar, in the Circuito Tricolore and counted among the FIVA (Fédération Internationale des Véhicules Anciens) events, which was held from July 5 to 9, 2023.
The event, which featured teams from 12 countries and 103 cars including sports cars, spiders and “barchettas” (all strictly open-topped and built up until 1972), passed through some of the most picturesque places in the Abruzzo region, particularly in the province of Teramo up to the Gran Sasso d’Italia, passing through the village of Castelli and the Sanctuary of San Gabriele dell’Addolorata.
The winners of the Grand Tour – the Fioroni-Alessandrelli team in a stunning 1952 Jaguar XK 120 – were awarded two special Desk Clock from the Tazio Nuvolari collection, the sporty-looking desk clock dedicated to the great “Flying Mantuan.”
This Eberhard & Co.’s presence at “Abruzzo Gran Tour – Circuito di Avezzano” reinforced the Maison’s bond with the world of vintage motoring and with those events where the passion for this field is shared with a sense of authenticity: a passion that cherishes and promotes both the bond with historicity and the desire to involve an increasingly broader public through happenings and initiatives on the territory.
