It is the 1969 Contograf model, a chronograph born in an era of profound change, when traditional mechanics began to confront the rise of quartz and the watchmaking world sought new ways to express identity and vision.<\/p>\n

The Contograf collection, one of the most emblematic in the history of Eberhard & Co., was introduced in the early Sixties to best interpret Maison\u2019s speciality: chronography. The model that now enters the Eberhard & Co. Museum belongs to a crucial phase \u2014 the first years of Palmiro Monti\u2019s leadership \u2014 when the watchmaking world was rapidly evolving and courage was needed to continue innovating.<\/p>\n

In this context, the Contograf is not just a watch: it is a response, a statement of style and technical mastery that chooses the path of personality, independence and, naturally, mechanical watchmaking.<\/p>\n

Now part of the Eberhard & Co. Museum collection, the Contograf has become a valuable testimony: a timepiece that reflects a period of transition in which form and function began to interact more freely, anticipating aesthetic sensibilities that would fully emerge in the years to come.<\/p>\n
