RALLY LEGEND

80,000 spectators invaded the Republic of San Marino for 4 days at full throttle, a record attendance for the 20th  edition of the Rallylegend.

Eberhard & Co., sponsor and timekeeper of the event for years, did not want to miss the appointment. As always alongside the Brand, the two-time world champion Miki Biasion, Eberhard & Co. ambassador since 2016, sparked sparks aboard the legendary Lancia 037.

For the occasion, a Limited Edition watch was also created, consisting of 20 pieces of one of Eberhard & Co. most representative models among those linked to the world of speed, the Tazio Nuvolari Legend.

A self-winding mechanical chronograph, with a steel case framing a black dial customized with the event logo, with luminescent Arabic numerals, minutes counter at 12 o’clock, hours counter at 6 o’clock,  central spiral tachymeter scale in km / h. The transparent sapphire back-cover is decorated with a “checkerboard” motif inspired by the start flag, personalised with the engraved model’s name.

In addition to the creation of this exclusive timepiece, Eberhard & Co. also titled the opening leg of the event, the Eberhard Time Challenge, which took place on the night of Thursday, October 13, and saw 185 crews compete on a 3 km track. The winners were Alessandro Furci and Andrea Nucita, both awarded with a Tazio Nuvolari Desk Clock, the exclusive table clock characterized by a polished bezel with a palladium surface treatment.

On Sunday, the final day, the driver Jari-Matti Latvala, together with Janne Ferm in a 1967 Toyota Celica ST 165, excelled in the Classic category and were awarded two chronographs from the Champion V collection, delivered by Miki Biasion.

In addition, Eberhard & Co. awarded another Champion V chronograph as a “Special Prize” to Finnish driver Kalle Rovanperä, new World Rally Champion 2022 and the youngest world champion of all time, who started rallying at the age of 8.

Autres nouvelles du monde Eberhard.
