\u00c0 l\u2019occasion du World Watch Day, Eberhard & Co. c\u00e9l\u00e8bre sa passion pour l\u2019horlogerie en accueillant une nouvelle pi\u00e8ce dans la collection permanente de son Mus\u00e9e \u00e0 La Chaux-de-Fonds : un chronographe bracelet datant de 1941, v\u00e9ritable t\u00e9moignage de la premi\u00e8re \u00e9poque extraordinaire des chronographes de la Maison.<\/p>\n

Un chef-d\u2019\u0153uvre de 1941<\/strong><\/h1>\n

La montre est anim\u00e9e par un mouvement chronographe m\u00e9canique \u00e0 remontage manuel, calibre EB 1600<\/strong>\u00a016\u2019\u2019\u2019, dot\u00e9 d\u2019un dispositif m\u00e9canique permettant l\u2019arr\u00eat momentan\u00e9 et la reprise sans retour \u00e0 z\u00e9ro, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la pr\u00e9sence, \u00e0 4 heures, d\u2019un poussoir glissant (caract\u00e9ristique propre aux garde-temps Eberhard & Co.<\/strong> de l\u2019\u00e9poque), tandis qu\u2019\u00e0 2 heures se trouve le poussoir destin\u00e9 au d\u00e9part, \u00e0 l\u2019arr\u00eat et \u00e0 la remise \u00e0 z\u00e9ro du chronographe.
\nLe bo\u00eetier, aux lignes harmonieuses, pr\u00e9sente un diam\u00e8tre de 40 mm, avec lunette \u00e0 gradin, poussoirs et couronne en acier inoxydable.<\/p>\n

Le cadran affiche une composition graphique particuli\u00e8rement riche et \u00e9quilibr\u00e9e : de couleur noir mat, avec des index et des chiffres arabes dor\u00e9s contrastants, il comporte deux compteurs, une \u00e9chelle t\u00e9l\u00e9m\u00e9trique externe, une \u00e9chelle au 1\/5e de seconde autour de la minuterie et la caract\u00e9ristique \u00e9chelle tachym\u00e9trique en spirale au centre.<\/p>\n

Une montre, une histoire<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Ce chronographe sportif n\u2019est pas seulement un objet pr\u00e9cieux : il illustre une \u00e9poque o\u00f9 le soin esth\u00e9tique allait de pair avec l\u2019\u00e9volution technique et la constante volont\u00e9 d\u2019innovation de la Maison<\/p>\n

Fond\u00e9e en 1887 par Georges-Lucien Eberhard, la Maison avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 introduit le premier chronographe monopoussoir-bracelet, inaugurant ainsi la grande tradition des chronographes de la Maison.<\/p>\n

Dans les ann\u00e9es 1930, Eberhard & Co. produisit des chronographes adopt\u00e9s comme signe distinctif par les officiers de la Regia Marina Militare du Royaume d\u2019Italie.<\/p>\n

Le mod\u00e8le de 1941 s\u2019inscrit dans une p\u00e9riode de grand dynamisme. L\u2019ann\u00e9e suivante, en 1942, la Maison pr\u00e9senta le c\u00e9l\u00e8bre Syst\u00e8me Magini, chronographe de navigation astronomique qui accompagna la premi\u00e8re travers\u00e9e Rome\u2013Tokyo en vol \u00e0 vue.<\/p>\n

Avec l\u2019arriv\u00e9e de ce chronographe dans le Mus\u00e9e Eberhard & Co., la Maison r\u00e9affirme son engagement dans la valorisation de son h\u00e9ritage et c\u00e9l\u00e8bre le World Watch Day avec un regard tourn\u00e9 vers le pass\u00e9, mais un c\u0153ur r\u00e9solument orient\u00e9 vers l\u2019innovation.<\/p>\n
