WOPART 2022

Wopart, an exhibition event that brings together the most prestigious international gallery owners at the Lugano Exhibition Centre, during its seventh edition
(22 to 25 September 2022) made traditional works on paper — a rapidly expanding sector — and NFT works coexist. Thus confirming the exhibition’s liveliness in adapting to the most contemporary artistic trends.

Eberhard & Co. and Mersmann Watchmaking also exhibited in the VIP Lounge this year, the latest additions to the collection: Scafograf 200 Limited Edition, celebrating the 135th anniversary of the Eberhard & Co. Maison, and one of the latest models of Chrono 4 «21-42», the latest version of the famous chronograph that revolutionised timekeeping in the third millennium.

Like every year, the Lounge also hosted an interesting work on paper, courtesy of Laura Paoletti, a well-known Italian artist who agreed to exhibit one of her most significant works: ‘Tramontata è la Luna’, a 2020 work created in ink on Japanese paper. It is an intimate narration through images inspired by reading Christine de Pizan’s book, Cité des Dames (1405).
