EBERHARD & CO. EXHIBITION WEEK

Мероприятия

Eberhard & Co. has chosen Geneva to preview the 2023 novelties during its Exhibition Week that took place from March 27th to April 1st at La Maison D’Horlogerie, in the famous district of Saint- Gervais at Geneve. There have been many previews for the occasion: two new dials for the 8 Jours collection; a new look for Scafograf -the brand’s best-selling diver watch that, after the black, blue and green versions, surprised with a dial and bezel in a warm brown shade-and the new Chrono version of the Scientigraf that offers all the features of the «time only» but enriched with a chronograph function. Inside the case is a metal cage specially designed to shield the movement from the magnetic fields present in everyday life devices, while the screw-down case back is decorated with the original design of the model launched in 1961.

Alongside the novelties the visitors were able to see the extraordinary history of the Maison’s watchmaking through the exhibition of a selection of the most representative watches from the Eberhard & Co. Museum inaugurated in 2019 at the Maison de l’Aigle in La Chaux-de-Fonds.

Among these exceptional timepieces, a 1939 catch-up chronograph was sold at Christie’s for a record 69,000 CHF.

Eberhard & Co.’s story began in 1887 when the Maison was founded by Georges-Lucien Eberhard when he was only twenty-two years old. The Brand’s creations have marked the entire 20th Century: unique watches, complications and patents have made the history of contemporary watchmaking.

It has been a unique event for all the guests who had the opportunity to see precious timepieces that have spanned three centuries of history in the name of uniqueness, quality and style: values that have continued to characterise the long history of Eberhard & Co. since 1887.
