EBERHARD & CO. AND GIUDICI RACING TEAM

СПЕЦИАЛЬНЫЕ СОТРУДНИЧЕСТВО

Not only vintage cars for Eberhard & Co. that after being accredited as a reference partner of the most beautiful competitions and events related to vintage cars, debuts in the Italian Sport Prototype Championship (CISP) together with the Giudici Racing Team.

The Lombard team made up of collectors and enthusiasts, is led by Gianni Giudici, founder, driver and constructor, a man who has always managed to combine technique and inspiration, respect for history and courage in breaking the mold. The first appearance of the name Giudici in the world of motor racing dates back to 1971 with a sequence of successes that saw him present in the World Championship for Brands, Italian Superturismo Championship and in various international competitions, including the FIA GT championship, the Euroseries 3000 and many others.

From 1993 to 1996, he took part in the DTM Championship, the world’s first covered touring car championship, where he competed in more than fifty grands prix. The recent seasons of the Giudici’s see the entry into the team of Gianni’s son, Claudio, who runs with the official colors white, red and blue in place of his father, now experienced and passionate team manager. This collaboration that combines different souls and ages has led to the victory of the team in the Mitjet Italian Series 2017.

The union between the Eberhard brand and the Giudici Team was born on the occasion of the 2018 Italian Sport Prototype Championship, for the first time in a single-brand version dedicated to the new Wolf gb08 Thunder powered by Aprilia RSV4. The competition stands out among the various reserved for prototype sports in the world, for the battles that have fascinated fans for more than thirty years. Two apparently distant worlds but historically close for the common challenge against time, some to beat it or to measure it exactly.

The watch chosen to surround the wrist of the team’s competitors, in a race that has prototypes as protagonists, could only be Chrono 4, an emblematic model by Eberhard that perfectly summarizes the essence of the Maison, a collection that since its lauch has represented a real revolution in the chronograph sector, both in a technical and aesthetic sense.

The Giudici Team competes with the format proposed by Wolf Racing Cars, with the debut at the temple of speed in Monza continuing with Misano, Mugello, Imola, Vallelunga and again Mugello as the last stage. The design of the car itself is constantly being developed both by the manufacturer, determined to realize the full potential of this exciting and captivating car, and by the teams, always looking for the right solutions for the definition of the set-ups. Not only the fastest team is rewarded, but the one most able to adapt and interpret a new vehicle. It is therefore the task of the three riders, Claudio Giudice, Andrea Perlini and Lodovico di Canossa to make their opponents understand that life on the track can be very hard.
