Only official Eberhard & Co. retailers can guarantee the authenticity of each and every part of your watch. All new Eberhard & Co watches are covered by a 2-year international guarantee, issued by Eberhard & Co, which is in addition to the benefits provided by law. It will be activated by the authorised retailer when the purchase is made by using the SHIELD CARD or THE SHIELD APP - downloadable through the Apple Store https://apps.apple.com/it/app/shield-warranty-activation/id1482611619 and Google Play https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.eberhard_app – of by completing and dating the paper warranty. INFORMATION ABOUT THE INTERNATIONAL GUARANTEE

The guarantee excludes:

• damage caused by faulty technical repairs or by breakages caused by impact
• damage caused by not following the instructions contained in the watch user manual (available in the ‘Find your Eberhard’ section of the site under the tab for each product), especially those relating to water resistance and the following:
Do not expose the watch to sudden changes in temperature (exposure to the sun followed by immersion in cold water) or to extreme temperatures (greater than 60 °C or less than 0 °C).
Do not expose the watch to strong magnetic fields such as those emitted by loudspeakers, mobile telephones, computers, refrigerators or other household appliances.
Avoid direct contact with solvents, detergents, perfumes, cosmetic products etc. as they can damage the bracelet, the case or the gaskets.
Regularly clean the case and bracelet with a soft cloth to avoid any corrosion caused by sweat. All waterproof watches can be cleaned with a brush (like a toothbrush), water and soap, then dried with a soft cloth. In the case of immersion in saltwater, the watch should be rinsed in fresh water and then dried completely.
• the watchstrap, crystal and all the parts of the watch worn out by normal use
• any charges relating to postage or insurance.

For any technical repair, you should speak exclusively to the Service Centres authorised by Eberhard & Co., a list of which can be found in the ‘Store Locator’ section of the site.
It is advised that the mechanism should be checked and reviewed on average every 3 years. For quartz watches, the battery should be replaced immediately when it is exhausted.
