EBERHARD & CO. IS THE MAIN SPONSOR OF THE RUOTECLASSICHE BEST IN CLASSIC AWARD COORDINATED BY RUOTECLASSICHE MAGAZINE TO PAY HOMAGE TO THE ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF COLLECTORS, BY HONOURING THE CARS, COMPANIES AND INDIVIDUALS THAT HAVE STOOD OUT OVER THE PAST YEAR FOR THEIR ORIGINALITY AND EXPERTISE. RUOTECLASSICHE HAS INTRODUCED AN UNPRECEDENTED, HIGHLY PRESTIGIOUS AWARD TO RECOGNISE THE MOST EXEMPLARY SITES, PROJECTS, WORKS AND INDIVIDUALS, TO SUPPORT AND PROMOTE THE REALM OF CLASSIC CARS WITH AN ONGOING NARRATIVE OF ITS MAGIC AND AUTHORITY.
Twelve categories were identified: classic car of the year, youngtimer of the year, best restoration 2020/21, events races and clubs, person of the year, young talent, specialists, museums, collections, supporters and sponsors, best publication. Nominations were put forward by completing a form published in the magazine and online and were voted for by readers and a panel of experts assembled for the occasion, including Eberhard & Co. managing director Mario Peserico.
The awards ceremony was held as part of a special event in the Rho Fiera Milano arena on the opening night of Milano Autoclassica, with the award of the ‘sector supporter sponsored by Eberhard & Co.’ in particular. Mario Peserico presented the award to Fritz Kaiser of the classic car trust for his dedication to breathing new life into the world of classic cars to sustain its increasing development.
