This year, once again, the time of Eberhard & Co. met the time of the sea.
The Maison renewed its presence at the Genoa International Boat Show, confirming its role as Official Timekeeper for the fifth consecutive year. A bond rooted in an authentic and enduring history, which finds one of its most contemporary expressions at the Show: a privileged setting to share a vision of time defined by independence, character, and constant evolution.
An encounter that transcends time
Among the highlights of the 2026 edition was the talk organized together with Alfa Romeo at the Eberhard & Co. Theatre, a space dedicated to dialogue and shared experiences, which this year welcomed visitors into an environment entirely designed and inspired by the Maison’s visual identity. A setting that further strengthened the brand’s presence and recognizability within the context of the Show.
Entitled “The Mechanics of Emotions, the Mechanics of Time,” the event became a journey through the history, values, and ability to evolve of two brands that, despite operating in different worlds, share the same spirit: remaining true to their identity and heritage while constantly looking toward the future.
Moderated by Sportitalia journalist Filippo Gherardi, the talk featured Mario Peserico, General Manager of Eberhard & Co.; Paolo De Vecchi, Watch Editor; Eugenio Franzetti, Head of Global Marketing at Alfa Romeo; and Lorenzo Ardizio, Curator of the Alfa Romeo Museum.
Time Transforms
The very concept of evolution through continuity, which lay at the heart of the conversation with Alfa Romeo, also defined Eberhard & Co.’s entire presence at the 2026 Genoa International Boat Show.
The undisputed protagonist of this edition was the launch of the Scafograf 200 MCMLIX Bronze Edition, a new interpretation of the historic Scafograf collection, born in 1959 and which has become, over time, one of the most authentic expressions of the bond between the Maison and the world of the sea.
Over the decades, the collection has evolved without ever losing its identity, preserving the distinctive codes that have made it iconic. The new Bronze Edition represents a harmonious synthesis of heritage and innovation, interpreting time through materials destined to transform and tell an ever-evolving story.
An Occasion That Renews a Bond
For Eberhard & Co., being Official Timekeeper means becoming part of a world that shares the Maison’s deepest values: a passion for precision, the pursuit of performance, and a vision of time as an experience to be lived to the fullest.
From the chronographs created for the Italian Royal Navy, to the birth of the Scafograf in 1959, through to its most recent evolutions and the new Bronze Edition unveiled in Genoa, Eberhard & Co.’s relationship with the sea has never stood still. It continues to evolve over time. Because the sea is constantly changing. And time, when truly lived, leaves its mark.
