Eberhard & Co. presented the exhibition “24 OpeRE”

Eberhard & Co. presented the exhibition “24 OpeRE” (Italian for “24 Artworks,” with a deliberate play on the word “OpeRE,” which contains the capitalized “ORE,” meaning “hours” in Italian) at MIA PHOTO FAIR BNP PARIBAS 2025, a leading event in the world of photography and collecting, which took place from March 20 to 23 at Superstudio Più in Milan.

The exhibition, conceived as an ideal day where the Brand paces time, featured 24 photographic works, one for each hour of the day, displayed within frames crafted with the skill of Cecé Casile. Like the hours of the day, unique and irreducible to one another, the works by renowned masters such as Biasiucci, Dondero, Cerati, Ghirri, Giacomelli, and others presented different subjects and situations, becoming true activators of dialogue and complex content. These dialogues and exchanges, in particular, are intimate and problematic, and what could be a more intimate dialogue than that between a work of art and the frame that contains it?

As stated by Mario Peserico, General Manager of Eberhard & Co., “The value of time and its reflection through art, particularly photography, has always been a subject close to our hearts. Thanks to our decade-long collaboration with the fair, we delve into this concept each year with highly engaging exhibitions. This year, in particular, the proposal proved fascinating and full of insights. The dialogue between the works of great photographers and the frames by Cecé Casile within ’24 OpeRE’ stimulated profound reflections on the contrast between measured time and lived time, as well as the dynamic relationship between the artwork and its frame. This has led us to questions and explorations, rather than definitive answers, a process where the dialogue itself enriches us, broadening our vision and inspiring new perspectives.”
