There are bonds that, year after year, become a genuine expression of shared values. This is the case with the relationship between Eberhard & Co. and the Vernasca Silver Flag: an event among the most beloved by enthusiasts of historic motorsport. A dialogue between present and past, where historic cars become guardians of emotions capable of spanning generations.
For 2026, Eberhard & Co. renews its role as Main Sponsor and Official Timekeeper of the event, supporting a special edition celebrating the thirtieth anniversary of one of the most beloved gatherings for historic motorsport enthusiasts. From June 19 to 21, the curves of the Val d’Arda once again became a place suspended in time. Along the nine-kilometre route connecting Castell’Arquato and Vernasca, around two hundred historic racing cars took part in a parade that evoked an era when the roar of engines accompanied courage and passion for speed.
During the event, the Maison celebrated the most remarkable vehicles by awarding the “Best of Show Pre-War”, “Best of Show Post-War”, and the prize dedicated to the most evocative livery in the category “The Sponsors of Speed”.
The 2026 edition presented a journey through some of the most iconic chapters in motoring history: a sequence of cars telling the story of one of the most significant periods in Italian technical and stylistic innovation.
Among the stories featured at the Vernasca Silver Flag was also the one preserved by Corrado Lopresto, Brand Ambassador for Eberhard & Co., who attended the event together with his 1950 Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 S Freccia d’Oro, which competed in the Carrera Panamericana with the Bonini–Bonetto crew: a car that today represents not only a historical testimony, but also the way in which the past continues to engage in dialogue with the present.
In this context, Eberhard & Co. confirms its role not only as Official Timekeeper, but as an interpreter of the same idea of excellence: one that recognises in time the value of stories worth preserving and telling.
